One of the number one reasons trucking companies go out of business at an alarming rate is because they do not know their numbers! They do not know what it cost to run their truck per mile, how to set up money for repairs and maintenance, know how much they have to gross to make their desired salary, and the list goes on.
So, I took some time to make a free calculator for you to use. It has all of the major categories it takes to run your business. I did not include start up costs, or taxes as those vary for everyone and would have taken alot more detail. But, I added most day to day expenses so you can get an idea of what it takes to run your trucks.
